Here is a tray of seeds started about a month ago. I used a Ferry Morse Jiffy Professional Greenhouse tray with 72 little peat pots. Pictured from left in rows of 6 are 2 rows of snow peas, 2 of leaf lettuce, purple basil, orange cosmo, tomatoes, white cosmos, cucumber, romaine lettuce and last, one of my favorite climbers, the moonflower. The weather here has been trending colder so they will be hardened off gradually in the shade on warmer days. In the meantime, I spray with water, sometimes some miracle grow mixed in and use my Aerogarden classic with the tray on it for the grow light. The snow peas and lettuce thrive in the cooler weather so they will go out into my garden box first. I have ordered 4th of July tomatoes and Sweet Red Pepper plants from Burpee cause I liked those varieties last year. They will arrive with the warmer weather.

It's not too late to try seed starting inside - you can find Aerogarden and seedtrays from Jiffy in the My City Garden Store.
