Here is the lavender and white orchid back for an encore - one of my faves!




Well, the wind and the rain last week served to wipe out a lot of the beautiful flowers, but I managed to get a few shots of my favorites before they did. Pictured here are the tulips, paperwhite, grape hyacinth and pear tree blossoms, Last year the pear tree produced at least 75 pounds of fruit. What is amazing is that it is a dwarf bartlett pear tree but the conditions must've been just right. This year, unfortunately, I don't think the bees had enough time to pollinate all the flowers. We do have little apricots started though. Time will tell.
