Things are moving right along here. The tomatoes, cucumbers, Swiss Chard, kale and peppers are growing more quickly now. The heat is on the snow peas and lettuce are finishing up. The kale and chard are more heat resistant greens, so we go with those now. Blueberries and some blackberries are on the way in containers. With a little planning, you can allocate your space for your favorites. I've been experimenting with the berries to see what does best. The strawberries we had didn't do very well this year which may because they like to sent out runners unlike the bush berries. Below are this weeks pix of the garden's progress.

Basil is great for a garnish or Summer Pesto

Kale is great fried with onion and butter

Summer Daisies - Simple and beautiful

No lillies yet, got a late start this year.
